Salutations! My name is Julianna Dimino and I am a multi-genre singer/songwriter from the coast of Massachusets. My biggest dream is to have a little girl tell me I'm her favorite singer, because I want to be a part of someone's childhood. Something they can reminisce on when they get older. Oh and I remember when she was 17 and all she wore was cowboy boots she said she actually liked heels too but never wore them because she was afraid she'd fall. What was that article from by the way? Was it newer or from back then? I'd love to read it!
I'm replying to your comment here because it never lets me reply to your comments on pictures for some reason. Anyway, I'm sure that was the reason she didn't wear cowboy boots and stuff to school and the reason she got into Abercrombie and Fitch and stuff instead because she wanted to fit in but I was just saying I think she's into more styles than she lets on. Like she's really girly and loves dresses but she likes jeans too. She wears them in her downtime sometimes so it's not like dresses are the only thing she wears it just seems like that because she's always performing in them and wearing them for interviews because that's what she's known for and she probably wants to look nice because she's always being photographed. People influence people's styles you know? And she's in the public eye. It'd be interesting to see what she'd wear (or what anyone would really) if no one was watching! haha

Hey, I tried to reply to your comment on that article but it wasn't working again so I figured I'd comment back on here where you'd see it. I don't think I can make it any bigger because I think that was as big as I was able to make it when I screen shot it with my phone but if you google Taylor Swift just a swift passing it comes up towards the bottom of the first page and you should be able to read it clearly. I didn't realize it was too small to read because I could read it when I took the picture but if you can get a better picture of it feel free to post it!

I just added the clip of her 2004 GMA interview! It's in a longer video of her on GMA when Wonderstruck came out and the clip is really short, only like maybe 5 seconds but it's still cool to see!

Cool! I hope to see you too but with so many people there we probably won't even with me being in my ridiculous costume. haha Unless your seats are on the floor. Then maybe you'd see me because I'll be in section A4 but I still might not see you. I don't really know what that dress looks like. I thought she was wearing a white shirt in that photo shoot but there's a few different commercial teasers so maybe she's wearing the dress in another one. You'll probably recognize me because of my costume but if I wasn't wearing it you probably wouldn't because I look a lot less made up. I don't normally wear makeup and I am in the picture and my hair is straightened in the picture too. I think I actually look older in it even though it's an old picture from 5 years ago. haha That would be really cool if we both got in! I really hope my costume works because I don't know what else to do if it doesn't but you never know, it might not be enough.
 I really hope it is though! I really want to meet her and ask her if she got my gift I sent her 3 years ago and weather or not she liked it. I just have to know, it's my dying wish! lol -Alyssa
Ps. Have you heard the rumor about our show being canceled? I don't think it's true (and I'd be really mad if it was because me and my friend paid a lot of money for the tickets and a hotel) but someone was saying that on TC because I guess Gillette stadium is working out some insurance issues.  Also, I don't know if you got one of those packages where you get a bunch of merch with your tickets but I did and I'm curious as to when it'll come in if you know anything about that. Even though I really don't think it's worth the money, I'm getting excited about it and about my banana costume which should be coming in the mail tomorrow! I hope it fits but it's one size fits all so it'll probably be really big! haha
Hey, I'm being really random again but I was just on here because I noticed you changed your picture (well actually I noticed a while ago but I guess I never really realized it was you) and I noticed you changed your bio too. Hey, this is kinda random but I just saw the other day in the style issue of People that she's on the cover of this month she was talking about how she learned to play on the guitar that the guy who taught her lent her just like you said! She said it was the best gift she ever got and said how her dad went and tracked him down to give it back like he told you only she said he tracked him down and bought it so maybe instead of giving it back, he just payed him for it so she could keep it. I just thought that was cool to see right after you told me that.

Yeah, I always got the feeling he wasn't a great manager but she's quoted as saying he was great and she loved him so I have no idea what really happened but it's hard to believe him. I mean why would he wait so long to claim that anyway unless he was just trying to cash in? Anyway, my question is if she was no where near signing with Sony then why is the song exclusivly owned by them? Also, it would have to have been written by November 2004 because that was when she performed it and it was about one of her friends from PA. And I just thought of something, they wouldn't really have overlapped if she supposedly left RCA in April 2005 and signed with Sony in May 2005. Unless they waited to put that article.

It was only for that type of performance, not to perform there at all. I don't know how they do it now but it actually said that on their website archives so that's where I got that from. It's because it was an "in the rounds" songwriter's performance. But that's cool you performed there. Why do you say Mrs. Verges? Isn't Troy a guy? I don't know anything about them but that's a guy's name so I always thought that was a guy. I'm not sure what you mean about how she would be released she said they wanted her to wait until she was 18 to put an album out and that they liked her songs but wanted her to record other people's songs more. And I know that she wrote with a lot of people like Liz Rose while she was at RCA but she did that while she was at Sony too. And how could Me and Britney be exclusively owned by Sony if it was written while she was at RCA? Plus, Scott Borchetta said she left there at 14 and she said she was 13 when she got the developmet deal with them. (or at least when she met with them and played them a bunch of her songs but if she was, I'm not sure why they'd wait) I've never heard anywhere that she was 14 when she started with them or that she was 15 when starting with Sony except for the one article from May 2005 so I assumed it was just put out later and they said she was 15 because she was 15 by then. And anyway, wasn't it the development deal that made them want to move there in the first place because it was hard to commute? They were already about to move there at the time you are saying she got the deal. And she was signed to BMR on August 30th or 31st 2005, so I'm not really sure what you mean by them having to wait a year. And yeah, Dan has tried to sue her like 6 or 7 times starting in 2007 saying that she owed him 5-10% of what she made because he helped her become famous and "jump start" her career but they fired him unfairly in July 2005 right before she signed with BMR and kept his money to themselves. They dissmissed it though, because in New York you have to have the court oversee any contracts that a minor signs and he didn't. It kept saying he had been working for them since April 2004 (not January like you were saying) but I'm confused by that because it always says that she got his attention by performing at the US tennis open (which was in August 2002 unless she did that twice) and how it was his idea for her to re-do her demo CD with the songs she'd written which was in 2003 and got her the meeting with RCA in the first place (which would've been earlier than that even if she didn't officially sign with them until then). So I'm just wondering why first of all she'd wait to sign with them and second of all how those things came about that were supposedly his idea if she wasn't signed with him yet. Do you think that her deals with RCA and Sony overlapped? They are different types of deals so couldn't she have had both at the same time like she does now with Sony and BMR? Because they always say she was 14 when she signed with them (and not just her but Sony too) and that she was the youngest staff songwriter working there. But anyway, who is it you're talking to? Are they someone in the bussiness who would know?

Thank you, I know publicists have control over what artists say to some extent but I don't think they'd ask her to flat out lie espresso ally right at the beginning of her career when she wasn't that big yet. And I believe you that there were articles about it from those dates and I'm not sure why they'd wait to publish them but it could've been because she didn't live in Nashville and wasn't known at the time. And I know for other performances you don't have to be signed or anything but I looked it up on their website archive when I found the thing that said she was there in November 2004 and it said for a songwriters circle or in the rounds or whatever they called it, you have to have performed there at least once before unless you were signed as a songwriter. And there was no proof that she had performed there before. Also, I don't think she was signed as a songwriter with RCA anyway, just a singer, because they wanted her to sing other people's songs. And I mean, if she co-wrote it with a songwriter from Sony then that proves she was with Sony when she wrote it at 14. But anyway, regardless of when she signed with either of them, she met Dan Dymtrow (or at least got his attention) when she was 12 and it was his idea for her to re-release her demo CD with the songs she wrote on it in 2003 so if that was really him in that picture then I tgink she was 13. I really don't think he'd know her for a year and a half before signing her. And I don't think that's why BMR disabled the web archives to her website because an archive literally can't give you false information. It only archives what was actually there when it was there. The dates can occasionally be missleading because sometimes there are two dates and the later one is really when the info is from because they archived the same link more than once (the link I was talking about wasn't like that, but it doesn't matter, I can't prove it now) but the info and dates aren't false. They probably disabled it because they don't want people using it to find out old info about her like about unreleased songs or to actually get unreleased songs because there were a couple like Lucky you that you could download through there. She's more famous now and probably just doesn't want to be assassinated with her old stuff anymore. Anyway though, do you have links or anything to any of these articles and pictures? I'd love to see them and add them to the site.

I know the website archives don't archive it every time she posts new news. It archives it when it archives it so I'm not saying the news was new but it was there on her website in 2003. It wasn't a picture, it was what her website really looked like. They don't paste pictures from a later time and put an earlier date on it. That's not how it works. She wasn't even famous at the time so no one would care to try to change it even if they could. But I don't think they can anyway. It's just a website that archives sites, she might not even know it exists. The only thing she could maybe do is disable some links because it's her site anyway. I'm not trying to say the picture isn't from when she was 14, it could've been, my point is just that there's proof she was signed with them at 13. And I know the article is from 2005 but they could've put the news about that out later. I don't have as much physical proof of that but I do know that to be in a songwriter circle at the bluebird cafe (which she was when she was 14) that you have to be either signed with someone as a songwriter or have performed there before and be a pretty popular regular and there's no proof she performed there before that at all. She didn't even live there that long at the time and at one of the performances (not sure which one but either way, I'm pretty sure she wrote the song at 14 because her second performance there wasn't too long after she turned 15) she sang asong called Me and Britney which is owned by Sony. Meaning she wrote it while she was signed with them and there was even a link to it on her website archives (which doesn't work but still) from 2004. I really don't think she'd lie about that seeing as she manages herself (she started her own management company) and there really isn't much of a reason to lie about that because either way it's an amazing feat. It doesn't make her seem any more "down to earth" to have been 14 when it happened. Plus she's always said that (even when she was 16) and she's never seemed like the kind of person who would say something just because her manager told her to. But really, weather she was 14 or 15 doesn't matter, that wasn't even my point. All I was trying to say was that there's proof she was 13 when she signed to RCA. Sorry, I'm not trying to start a fight or anything, I just wanted to point that out.

That's not what I meant. That picture could've been taken in 2004 if she was signing something else like with Sony or something. I didn't find that picture on her site so I don't know exactly what it is of or when it was from. What was on her website was news that she had been archived in June of 2003 meaning that it was really there in 2003. Those dates are when they really archived that stuff. It wasn't even one that they archived later that was supposed to be from then, it was archived in 2003. Therefore she was signed with them then. I don't know what the picture is but she was 13 when she signed with RCA and 14 when she signed with Sony, she's said that herself many times.

I know they don't always have exact dates but it was on her homepage archived in June 2003 so obviously she was signed with them by then. If she wasn't signed until 2004 then it wouldn't be able to be archived in 2003. So it is accurate at least for a time range.

No, she signed with RCA when she was 13 and him when she was possibly still 12 because that's when she met him after singing at the US tennis Open. Her deal was up when she was 14 and that's when she signed with Sony, so that could've been who she was signing with there if she was definetly 14. I think she actually got rid of him around that time (I heard he actually sued her family for breech of contract) and it actually said on her website archives that she was with them in June of 2003. The deal she got with them was what made the family want to move there so it was long before they actually did and it wouldn't make sense anyway for him to wait that long to sign her after meeting her. I'm not sure where you got Janurary and March 2004 from but I don't think that's correct.

Well, then maybe she was 13 and signing with him or RCA and he was there because he was her manager but my point was that he wasn't affiliated with either one and she met him when she was 12 before she signed to RCA which was before she signed with Sony. The time period might be right but you just seemed to have some of your stories mixed up, that's all.
