Ok so I found out this is someone named Joie (not sure if that's pronounced like Joy or Joey) and she's a singer too (and also now a vocal coach) so they would perform at the same places when they were younger. She posted herself months ago on Instagram (however long ago 38 weeks is, so more than 6 months but less than a year). She was a junior in high school at the time and she said it was when they performed at the Britney Spears summer camp which was in summer 2003 and according to someone who sold one of her demo CDs on eBay she performed there again the next summer (which was it's last year) but she doesn't look as old as she did that summer to me.

Yeah, probably, maybe close to 14 but probably not yet. I've never seen this picture but it looks like maybe somewhere she performed or something? I don't know, the other girl just looks like someone who's famous or was trying to be and like she's older than Taylor even though they're sitting together like friends. It makes me think she was someone performing at the same place that maybe she got to know from performing at the same places or something or maybe she was just hanging out with her before or after her performance that day. I have no idea honestly but for some reason they don't look like they're actually friends to me. This could be a stretch and the girl in the song probably lived in Tennessee anyway but it makes me wonder if it could be the girl from Who I've always been. Like maybe they used to be friends and met when they'd perform at the same places or at school or something and then she got super competitive or something. Or maybe they both had development deals at RCA or something. I have no idea, I could check her yearbooks though. This is interesting, thanks for posting! Where did you find it?
