Taylor with Ronnie Cremer, the guy who taught her how to play guitar. She was 12 here (and I noticed that she's wearing the same I love NY tank top she was wearing in one of her Andrew Orth photoshoots from when she was 13 or 14 which I just thought was cool) and the woman is Maureen Carr who owns a bar that he took Taylor to play an open mic night at (the first time with a guitar after starting to learn it) that night but she couldn't perform because she was too young. That was in July 2002. He did an interview recently with the New York daily news explaining how he taught her and that he didn't actually come over to fix her computer (although he did eventually do that as he does own a computer repair shop but he's also a musician who they met through his brother Kirk who was Taylor's theater director. Her parents actually asked him to give her lessons and help her make her demo CD among other things) which was really interesting and better explains things that Taylor kind of glosses over in interviews. Andrew Orth and another guy who taught her guitar before Ronnie were also interviewed but they didn't say much. Anyway, this was a great find but the credit goes to TaylorSwiftFan because although she didn't post it, I found it on her facebook via Taylor Swift throwbacks and took the liberty of posting it myself. I just found out he posted it himself on twitter. I just thought it was really cool to find a picture of her with him since I had never come across one before.
