I think they almost dated, but she may have just had a crush, she loved his music. Kellie Pickler has also been seen closely with him around the same and Julianne Hough but who knows! hH was also at Taylor's 18th birthday party. More recently he was photographed with her at the NASH FM 94.7. I recall seeing a video of this performance years ago but forgot the link and where this was. :/

Oh, that's who that was! I wondered because I thought that guy might've been the guy she wrote Love story and Tell me why about (and I used to think White horse and You're not sorry too but now I actually think those are about Sam) when I saw a picture of him at her 18th birthday party (I have that picture in the Other boys section) but now that I know she liked him I definetly think he could be the guy! I thought maybe she just knew him because he dated Kellie but I bet right after that (late 2007/early 2008) was when she almost dated him. Kellie was probably one of the ones who told her not to trust him. I don't know why she'd want to date her friend's ex or why Kellie would date hers so that seems weird and may not even be the case but I always wondered who that guy was (although I always figured he wasn't famous because no one ever figured out who he was) so this gives me hope! I've actually seen this picture before too but didn't know his name or reconfnize him from the other picture. He's really cute, I bet that's why she liked him. How old is he by the way, he looks like he's at least a little bit older than her and I always figured that guy was older because she made it sound that way not only when she talks about him inspiring the songs but when she called him a creep in her 60 minutes interview. lol Who knows if he's really the guy (a lot of people think it was Martin Johnson from Boys like girls but I don't buy that because they continued to write together for at least two years after that and if they had almost dated that would've been really awkward so I doubt if that was true that that would've happened) but either way it's good to put a name to the face.
